I recently asked them to do something very bespoke for me! Sentimental and I’m sure a challenge they didn’t flinch!
My mum and dad moved recently from our family home after 52 years! So as you can imagine downsizing from a 4 bed family home to a two bed bungalow meant some stuff had to go? However my mums mums wedding dress was a tricky one? We talked and decided we’d like to make something of it but what and who would do it? We decided maybe cushions to give to daughters, granddaughters, great granddaughters to keep the dress alive ! We asked Kerri’s crafts!
My Grandma and Grandad married on the 3rd August 1940, Mary (Molly) and James (Jim) Mulryan . They had 3 children Margaret Kennedy Eileen Jones Tony Mulryan. Sadly Molly died very young leaving Grandad Jim to bring up 3 very young children !
So I have no memories of my grandma but as a family we have fabulous ones of Grandad Jim! Always wore a suit and always had an opal fruit in his pocket !
So back to the dress please see the pics of the wedding and the process of making it a keepsake for our family ! Thank you so much for taking on a task which must of seemed so daunting xxxx
